NadTech Driver — Support
Help with the iOS/Android app that drivers use to share their live location with dispatch.
First, contact your dispatcher
Your dispatcher sent you the tracking link and they can see your tracking status from their side. For most situations — “am I showing up on the map?”, “the link expired,” “wrong load assigned” — your dispatcher is the fastest help.
Common issues
The app isn’t pinging dispatch
- Make sure the app is open and you tapped “Start Sharing Location.”
- Check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → NadTech Driver is set to Always or While Using.
- Verify you have cell signal or Wi-Fi — pings need an internet connection.
- Try tapping “Send Now” to force an immediate ping.
- If still not working, tap “Stop Sharing,” then “Start Sharing” again.
The app is draining my battery
The app is designed to be efficient — pings drop to every 3–12 minutes when you’re parked. If you’re seeing unusual battery use, make sure no other GPS-heavy app (navigation, weather, food delivery) is also tracking in the background. Keep the phone plugged in to truck power for long drives.
The link from my dispatcher won’t open
Make sure you’ve installed the app from the App Store first. Then tap the link again. If iOS still opens it in Safari, copy the link, open the NadTech Driver app, and paste when prompted.
How do I stop sharing?
Open the app and tap “Stop Sharing Location.” You can also revoke location permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → NadTech Driver.
Who sees my location?
Only the carrier company whose link you tapped. NadTech Suite does not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your location to third parties. See our privacy policy for the full details.
